Monica (My) Schüldt presenting her TEDx talk on "Stop interrupting! How to listen so people can think"

Since my start of working at SRC, thinking environments became sort of second nature to me for facilitation, thanks to Hanna Wetterstrand introducing the method 'time to think' back then (2014, 2015?). It was only in 2019 that I first met her teacher, 'My' Schüldt, at Researchers' Desk, who since then published several books on applying this method for different group discussion contexts. Her TEDx talk aired this year September 2nd, (https://www.ted.com/tedx/events/62722) and is the only one from the speaker list not yet on youtube, because it was chosen as 'editors pick' to be promoted later ... So we had the honor that for Researchers' Desk Christmas party she shared her talk once more. Just like interruptions can shatter thoughts, the vulnerable vase crashed in the picture. Careful thinking environments through paying attention, sharing equal rights, and paying tribute to good things, together these support the best thinking every human can do. And in the metaphor - they repair the broken pieces and allow the vase to heal. "When you go with the same thought into a meeting as you go out, you know that you've missed a thinking environment." - Alasdair Skelton
