Greetings from Raja Ampat, Indonesia
Science director Magnus (right) and Deputy science director Per (left) in Indonesia and the Raja Ampat region. Coral reefs here hold the world's richest marine biodiversity! We are here with the Coral Guardians project, a collaboration with Albaeco and musician Anders Paulsson. Today we visited the newly established UNESCO Biosphere Reserve's office here and also met up with musicians in the Saporkren Village. Tonight there will be a concert together with local musicians where we also will get the chance to talk about our project. It is a project carried out in collaboration with filmmaker Mattias Klum and it aims to highlight coral reef research through film, music, and culture.
