Carbon Tracker for SRC staff
We are launching a pilot system to allow staff to track their carbon emissions from travel. The system allows staff to set annual targets to reduce emissions from transport and hopefully change our behavior in the long run. This means ”Walking the talk” for sustainability. The Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research - a world-leader in climate policy research and close friend of SRC - has built a system specifically for academics and staff. SRC is one of the few institutes to pilot the system which has been running successfully at the Tyndall for several years. Check it out here http://traveltracker.world/ We will run the pilot scheme for one year. How do I start tracking my emissions? The system is voluntary. Please send an e-mail to Tobias tobias.andersson@su.se who will set you up with a profile. Your data is private and will not be shared. The Tyndall Centre will use anonymised data in research and we will have access to the anonymised data too for research purposes. What happens next? The easy-to-use system allows you to register and track your emissions for every journey you do. Staff set their own targets. We will do a trial at a speed talk beginning of the year to explain how it works. If I have questions? Please talk to the SRC carbon tracker team (Owen Gaffney, Cecilia Linder, Lisa Jacobsson and Tobias Andersson)
