Seminar 30/8 13.00 Beijer Institute: 30 min talk by Julia Blanchard, Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies, University of Tasmania and the Centre for Marine Socioecology

Julia is an Associate Professor in Ecology & Fisheries and her research covers a wide range of questions on how human activities and environmental change affect ecosystems and society. Her current research is focussed on understanding and predicting the climate change impacts on marine food webs, from local to global scales, and the complex interactions and trade-offs that exist between marine and terrestrial ecosystems and global food systems.
