Updated information to Staff and Students about Corona

All students and staff at Stockholm University are advised to follow the recommendations of the Swedish Public Health Agency and the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs (UD). The university continues to operates as usual while it increases its preparedness and closely follows the development of the spreading the coronavirus.

Stockholm University are following these authorities recommendations. If the university decides on local regulations, these will be published on this website. Until further notice, the University advises staff and students not to travel to Iran and China. Business trips to Iran and China (not including Hong Kong and Macao) are not granted under present circumstances. All scheduled visits from partners/guests from Iran and China (not including Hong Kong and Macao) are cancelled until further notice. Staff and students who have recently visited affected areas have, in consultation with relevant head/course coordinator, the opportunity to work/study from home for a two-week period after arriving in Sweden. Employees who plan to travel abroad or who await visits from other countries are encouraged to follow recommendations from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Public Health Authority, the universities where visits are planned, and the airlines' information. People who have been in the areas below should, according to the Public Health Authority, pay attention to respiratory symptoms such as coughing, breathing difficulties or fever and call the health care guide 1177 for assessment.
