The gist of our staff meeting
1. Steven Lade steven.lade@su.se presented a new matrix method to map and understand interactions, a method he himself found very useful during his most recent work. Contact Steve for more details! 2. Beatrice Crona beatrice.crona@su.se provided an update on the Blue Food Assessment, its structure and work plan for the next 12 months or so. Henrik Österblom henrik.osterblom@su.se announced the end of the line for the Nereus Program, a 9-year collaboration between the SRC, Stanford, Princeton, Duke and several other academic institutions. More here: https://nereusprogram.org/ 4. Owen Gaffney (owen.gaffney@su.se) presented the launch of the Planetary Emergency Partnership which he has helped develop. Schill Caroline caroline.schill@beijer.kva.se and Henriksson, Patrik patrik.henriksson@beijer.kva.se introduced the new Formas-funded project entitled “Achieving the sustainable development goals in an unequal world”. It was one of 11 project that received funding. Hanna Wetterstrand hanna.wetterstrand@su.se will host a "Time To Think" workshop 13th of October at 10-12.15 or 21st of October at 13-15.15. The Time To Think workhop will teach you how to set a Thinking Environment which is a space where people generate the finest independent thinking. We will go through and practice the 10 behaviours identified for creating a thinking environment. You will find it useful for all kinds of meetings professionally and privately. Interested?
