The gist of our Monday meeting

1. Amar Causevic amar.causevic@kva.se, based at http://www.gedb.se/amar-causevic reported back from a presentation he did on tipping points to NATO’s Crisis Management and Disaster Response Centre of Excellence. 2. Wendy Broadgate wendy.broadgate@futureearth.org presented the 2019 climate science insights developed by Future Earth: https://futureearth.org/publications/science-insights/10-new-insights-in-climate-science-2019/ 3. Peter Sogaard Jorgensen peter.sogaard.jorgensen@su.se spotted some interesting night-shining clouds last week. Louise H. af Segerstad louise@albaeco.com informed about the recent developments for the International Criminal Court to formalize the crime of ecocide. The International Criminal Court is the institution for prosecuting four internationally recognized crimes against peace: genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and the crime of aggression. Time to add ecocide. 5. We asked Laura Elsler laura.elsler@su.se 11 slightly random questions about her life as a PhD student. She likes salads.
