The gist of our Monday meeting
1. PhD and Master's students Kruger Nyasulu, Hanna Wernerson, Nataliia Pustilnik, Luigi Piemontese and Robin Lindström shared their thoughts on the Agricultural Research for Development Conference which took place in Uppsala earlier in September. Laura Pereira provided her reflections on the Biodiversity Revisited Symposium on setting a new research agenda for biodiversity. The symposium took place in Vienna mid September. PhD student Jean-Baptiste Jouffray (jean-baptiste.jouffray@su.se) presented his newly published paper on leverage points in the financial sector for seafood sustainability. The academy supports researchers who can help transform the world through their own academic research. 20 post-docs are currently enrolled. They will soon be visiting the SRC. Ida Gabrielsson from the GRP's communications group offered a summary of the recent full-day event in New York ahead of the UN Climate Action Summit. "Building a Resilient Future" gathered some 500 people and had more than 20 high-level speakers. Great work from Ida and her colleagues!
