The gist of our Monday meeting
Centre master’s student Aaron Tuckey started off this week’s talks with a funny and thoughtful poem about vegans. Lisen Schultz and Cecilia Linder presented a work environment survey by SU which will be launched 14 October. The survey aims to to gauge staff’s perception of our work environment, socially and organisationally (not physically). They are looking for honest answers, so make sure you fill it in! For more questions contact Cecilia Linder cecilia.linder@su.se Jacob Hileman presented a new paper on brokerage in environmental governance networks, co-written with Örjan Bodin. Who are playing the role as the broker between different parties? Clue: it’s complicated. Ricarda Winkelmann & Jonathan Donges from the Potsdam Institute for Climate Change Research presented their PIK FutureLab on Earth Resilience in the Anthropocene, particularly looking at tipping points and the possibilities to design an Earth Resilience Index.
