The gist of our Monday meeting
1. Beatrice Crona beatrice.crona@su.se provided feedback on the ABW survey that many of you (100!) contributed to. The gist: some are happy, others not, some are neither. But there are issues that need to be addressed! 2. And on that point...: Johan Gistorp johan.gistorp@su.se presented some of the action points such as fixing the rooms so they are the way they should be, tidy up and increase the number of high focus areas (yellow zones) 3. Tim Daw tim.daw@su.se presented a new book on the toxic state of public discourse. Book title: I’m right and you’re an idiot. Written by James Hoggan 4. Some of our excellent students reported back from their work and interaction at COP25 in Madrid. Much to be frustrated about, youth activitism a glimmer of hope. 5. Jean-Baptiste Jouffray jean-baptiste.jouffray@su.se announced his thesis on what the Anthropocene means to the ocean and vice versa. He will defend 17 January 2020. 6.
