More info, or sign up to volunteer: send e-mail to toya.westberg@gmail.com ******************************************************************************** Hej Climate Experts/Scientists For Future Vi har en vision om att sprida mer kunskap om klimatet i samhället och tror att utbildning är ett av de viktigaste sätten att nå människor. Ett sätt att sprida kunskap är att göra det möjligt för människor att möta klimatexperter och forskare för att få tillgång till mer information om den klimatkris vi befinner oss i. Vi tror också att om ni, de personer i samhället som har mest kunskap i ämnet, har större chans att övertyga fler om det akuta i situationen. Ni kan både bidra med massor av kunskap, men också ge tyngd åt budskapet att klimatfrågan är akut och väldigt allvarlig. På den stora globala klimat strejken 24 maj i Kungsträdgården hoppas vi på att fler forskare kan komma för att hjälpa oss att svara på frågor och sprida kunskap om varför det är så viktigt att vi får ner våra utsläpp fort. Tanken är att en grupp med klimatexperter och forskare ska sitta på en plats dit folk kan komma med frågor och funderingar. Att få prata med en riktig forskare tror vi skulle betyda otroligt mycket för många och att det skulle kunna vara en möjlighet att nå fler. Vi kommer att tillhandahålla ett eller flera skrivbord som Ni kan sitta vid, whiteboard och storbildskärm kommer också att finnas. Vi tar hand om allting runt omkring, det enda vi ber om är att Du kommer och hjälper oss att sprida den kunskap som behöver nå ut i samhället. Snälla hjälp oss att sprida kunskap den 24 maj. Strejken håller på mellan 08:00-15:00, Du är välkommen att vara med hela dagen eller bara någon timme. We would like to make it possible for people to meet climate experts and scientists for more knowledge about the climate crisis we are in. We also think that You, the ones with most knowledge about the subject, might be able to convince more people about the urgency. You will both contribute with a lot of knowledge, but also with a feeling of seriousness about the situation. On the large global climate strike in Kungsträdgården on May 24th, we hope to have more climate experts and scientists to come to answer questions and/or give street lectures on climate science and why the urgency to cut emissions. The idea is that you will sit at a desk were people can come and ask questions. We think it will mean a lot to many people to be able to speak with a real scientist and that we might reach out to more people this way. We will provide desks, whiteboards, and a large computer screen for scientific presentations for the public/climate strikers. We will also take care of everything around this project, the only thing we are asking for is Your scientific expertis and Your time. Please join us on May 24th. The strike will go on between 08:00-15:00, You are welcome to join us for the whole day or only some hours.
