Professorship on Transformations

The ENS de Lyon is creating a cross-disciplinary center to structure and energize research and training on the challenges of socio-environmental transformations. To lead this center, we are considering opening a professorship. The role will be to lead the ENSL scientific community, particularly by developing research between the experimental sciences and the humanities and social sciences, as well as transdisciplinary research, in collaboration with stakeholders in the major transformations facing our societies. The goal is to train graduates who are aware of the crucial issues they will face in their careers as educators and/or decision-makers. We are therefore seeking colleagues with HDR who are ready to get involved in this stimulating but demanding project, capable of constructive discussion with colleagues from all disciplines (for example, through joint training in experimental sciences and the humanities and social sciences), and who require a location in Lyon.
