Priorities for Social-Ecological Scenario Research, next iteration

"Anticipating the future is existential to life" Dear colleague, You may remember that we are conducting a study to identify priorities for social-ecological scenario research. We aim to contribute to building the community of researchers and practitioners that is emerging around social-ecological scenarios. We are interested in assessing what people within this community consider to be priorities for research, to help organize and focus this community. During the initial phase we crowd-sourced 62 key research questions and issues. With a small team we organized, merged and clustered these contributions into 28 key questions in 5 different categories. These 28 questions served as the basis for the scoring and ranking phase. ​In total 78 experts rated the importance of the research questions. Additionally we received various suggestions for improvements and missing key questions. We used all this information to discard several low ranking questions and compile an updated set of 32 questions for a next iteration. We ask you to share your expertise and opinion by scoring the importance of the 32 questions, to help pinpoint the priorities according to the community of researchers and practitioners.
