Notes from Speed talks 26 October

A short meeting this week: 1. Albert Norström albert.norstrom@su.se and Cibele Queiroz Cibele.Queiroz@su.se provided an intro to the knowledge team at the Global Resilience Partnership. A particular focus on the collaborative actions being established: - South to South Resilience Academies - Seeds of resilience for peace and stability - Ocean risks alliance with focus on small island state and least developed countries 2. Steven Lade steven.lade@su.se is preparing a reply to Hillebrand et.al's paper "Thresholds for ecological responses to global change do not emerge from empirical data". The paper has some "good bits" but also some "not-so-good bits. Reach out to Steve if you want to help with the reply.
