Non-violent action and regime shifts: obituary of Gene Sharp

As you may know the SRC has a close partnership with the Natural Capital Project. Last week Richard Sharp, head of the NatCap's software team, informed us that his uncle Gene Sharp passed away at age 90. Gene Sharp was a pioneer in the field of nonviolent action and wrote extensively on the theory and practical application of nonviolent action and power to overturn dictatorships. His work was used in revolutions all over the world. Most famous for his book 'From Dictatorship to Democracy: A Conceptual Framework for Liberation', Gene Sharp was nominated for the Nobel peace price four times. Several major newspapers published an obituary this weekend, and considering the topic I think they're interesting to many of you working on transformations and regime shifts.
