Call for papers: Agroecology towards SES

Dear WaterSES colleagues,<br /><br />The journal Sustainability (ISSN 2071-1050, IF 1.789) is currently running a Special Issue entitled “Agroecology for the Transition towards Social-Ecological Sustainability”.<br /><br />It is my pleasure to serve as Guest Editor for this issue, together with my colleagues Dr. Elisa Oteros-Rozas and Dr. Federica Ravera (in cc). We think you could make an excellent contribution based on your experience on SES research. We would also appreciate if you could spread this call for papers to any relevant networks and groups.<br /><br />We invite you to submit a paper on the subject of Agroecology for the Transition towards Social-Ecological Sustainability. The purpose of this Special Issue of Sustainability is to solicit original theoretical, methodological, and empirical research papers exploring how agroecological approaches promote the sustainability of agrarian social-ecological systems, taking into account the complex relationships established between ecological functions and ecosystem services-human wellbeing- innovative socio-technical innovations and governance models as well as land use policies. Review and opinion papers that summarize the state-of-the-art, research gaps and the further directions of the topic are also welcome. Open access (unlimited and free access by readers) increases publicity and promotes more frequent citations, as indicated by several studies. Open access is supported by the authors and their institutes.
